As from today a new feature is online at FLEETfile.com: Comments for mobile cranes.
As a registered user you can now easily publish sales offers and purchase requests for the listed mobile cranes, as well as general information and field reports.

As mentioned before, we now have load-charts for 240* mobile cranes online for download. All cranes for which a PDF is available are marked with a PDF-symbol in the technical specifications:
The only premise to make use of this feature is a registration. With the Basic-account there is one download free each month. The Premium-Account offers you unlimited downloads for all available load-charts.
Until now we have send the single PDFs from the KranTechnikon by email on request. But the number of requests was so high in the meantime that we couldn’t send it in time anymore. That’s why we decided to offer this for download now.

For some days now we have a small but fine improvement online at FLEETfile.com.
Based on the different load charts published by the crane manufacturers we had to find a basic pattern for the given working radius, fitting to ALL charts. That’s why until now we had some gaps in the load capacities, especially for the bigger and big cranes.
This made it sometimes difficult to compare the load capacities of cranes from different manufacturers, as the gaps f.e. for Demag and Liebherr cranes are not congruent.
Now we have solved this problem. That all gaps are closed and you now find load capacities at every working radius is based on an interpolation done automatically in the database. Now you can compare the load capacities of all cranes from all manufactuers without having gaps in the charts. The example shows the load capacities for the Demag CC 8800-1 Twin:
In order to highlight the interpolated values this are marked with asteriks.
The interpolation is one premise for a crane selection by load capacity and working radius which we want to prepare in the next weeks.
Today we have decided about the next steps:
First we will add another subpage to the address-sheets of the crane-hire companies. This will show the companies location directly in Google-Maps. So you can easily and directly navigate from your own location to the companies yard. This will speed up your search for the nearest cranehire company a lot.*
Additionally we will change the forwarding of the PDF-specifications for the mobile cranes. The specs will not be sent by email any longer but will be available directly for download. This step now is necessary due to the high amount of email-requests we receive every day and we are no longer able to handle these in time.
Both improvements will probably be available this very month.

A little bit more than one year FLEETfile.com has been online before we now have published a relaunch of the site in a new design and with many new features. As known before you still find specifications for more than 500 mobile cranes from all manufacturers, types and years of built. Based on these data we have now added load capacities for most of the cranes. With this it’s possible now to classify a single crane or compare the capacity of divers cranes easily to each other.
The biggest novelty in the new Fleetfile is the listing of approximately 4000 crane hire addresses online. Many of the customers of our “International Crane Rentals Directory” have been asking for the possibility to gain online-access to our crane hire addresses. Now we have realized it. With the quick and easy to manage registration of a basic-account you can activate an included e-mail-form to send your request for a crane or information to nearly all of the listed crane hire companies all over the world. With the premium-account you get unlimited access to all address details including phone- and fax number, website, as well as information about the capabilities of the company.
Now that we have mobile crane specifications on the one hand and crane hire addresses on the other hand it was obvious to connect both items by listing the cranes a certain company owns as well as listing the companies who own a certain crane. This means you find comprehensive information about who owns which crane.
Further new features are planned for the near future or are already in preparation. Also we are filling the new Fleetfile.com continuously with new and updated data.
